Critical Review Was Made of the Rawalpindi Press Club Protest




The meeting of the Jammu Kashmir People's Action Committee Rawalpindi Islamabad was held on October 6 at Koral Chowk Islamabad at 5:00 p.m. The meeting was attended in large numbers from Rawalpindi, Islamabad.

The agenda of the meeting was to plan the strategy for full participation of the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee on scheduled activities in Rawalpindi Islamabad and to determine the responsibilities. The second important agenda was that of the organizers of various regional committees and departmental committees of Rawalpindi Islamabad.

A total of 35 people participated in the meeting.

In the meeting, a critical review was made of the Rawalpindi Press Club protest on the call of Jammu Kashmir Public Action Committee Rawalpindi Islamabad on the Sep, 3rd. Along with this, the historical background of the People's Rights Movement and its declaration were covered.

By a majority vote in the meeting, Shakeel Khan was given the responsibility of finance. Shakeel Khan was given the responsibility of taking funds and expenses and keeping the appeal fund for any program of the Awami Action Committee Rawalpindi Islamabad.

Syeda Nighat took charge of the Jammu and Kashmir Women's Action Committee.

Naeem Hayat was appointed as the organizer to form a committee of journalists.

The organizers of the Lawyers Action Committee, Mehran Marouf Advocate and Shehbaz Inqlaabi Advocate, were appointed

In the meeting, while welcoming and paying tribute to the formation of the Student Action Committee, the students were assured of full financial and numerical support for the October 17 program.

On October 10, a program for women is to be held at the Islamabad Press Club, for which there will be a vigorous campaign and an appeal for funds will be held for the program. An appeal will be made to every Kashmiri citizen for the full participation of women and children. And especially the appeal will be kept to the female students living in Rawalpindi Islamabad, everyone will consider it as a motivational responsibility.

At the end of the meeting, Asad Raza, the host, was thanked for the beautiful arrangements and the management of Jinnah Model College Coral Chowk who provided services for the movement. Contingency fund collected up to 7000 PKR.
